Madhya Pradesh is home to two of the twelve revered Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. These sacred shrines are visited by thousands of Shiva devotees to seek his blessing.
The first is Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga, located on the island of Mandhata in the Narmada River near Khandwa. The island's shape resembles the Devanagari symbol "ॐ," and it houses two prominent Shiva temples: Omkareshwar (Lord of the Om Sound); and Mamleshwar (also known as Amaleshwar, the Immortal Lord).
Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, situated in Ujjain, about 140 km north of Omkareshwar, is the second Jyotirlinga and significant shrine where devotees gather to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva.
Arti Yatra Private Limited invites Malaysian devotees to embark on this spiritual journey and offer prayers at these holy sites.
